I got a new camera! Finally, after months and months of nothing but my I Phone, there is a camera back in my hands. A nice one. After much debate, and with the help of a few camera-friendly friends, I decided on the Canon Powershot G12. I was sitting on the fence about getting an SLR, but I really wanted something smaller that I could take on the go - with two kids under five you are always on the GO...plus, I don't know enough about cameras to get a big boy one yet, I think. This one suites me just fine.
I only got it a few hours ago, but of course I've been padding around the house snapping photos of everything (like, everything. Dishes, knick knacks, sleeping children) and I really really like it.
So here are a few shots of what's happening in the studio right now...bear with me, I'm still in "automatic mode". Still learning...
